At Meridian Elementary, we believe that a great school experience starts with a welcoming environment where each person is known and valued. Our Mustang community brings staff and families together to support the growth, success, and well-being of every learner.

We know that every student’s academic journey is unique, which is why we offer families choices. For our youngest learners, we are proud to provide both conventional and Accelerated Kindergarten options on our campus.

What does Accelerated Kindergarten look like? Here’s a look inside the everyday life in our Accelerated Kindergarten classrooms:

  • A Faster Academic Pace: Our accelerated students use the same high-quality programs and curriculum as our conventional classrooms, but they move through the material at a faster pace. In math, our kindergarteners work a full year ahead, giving children who love numbers a chance to stretch their thinking.
  • Is Your Child Ready for a Challenge?: This environment is designed for students who are naturally curious and eager to learn. If your child is constantly asking questions, figuring out math problems on their own, or simply loves the challenge of learning something new, they may thrive in this fast-paced classroom.
  • Learning on the Move: A big part of the kindergarten experience is staying active and building friendships. Our students participate in regular rotations through creative subjects like Art, Music, Library, and P.E.
  • A Community for the Whole Family: Life at Meridian goes beyond the classroom walls. Our school loves bringing families together for annual traditions like Donuts with Dads, Muffins with Moms, our community Book Fairs, the annual Fun Run, and our popular neighborhood Halloween parade.
